"A very convenient location in downtown Portland with easy access to all transit and restaurants. This is a good budget hotel so adjust your expectations when arriving. We loved the nearby Ali-Baba food truck beer garden. The staff are all very obliging and helpful but housekeeping was sorely lacking. No housekeeping staff in evidence and we had to keep asking for towels and coffee supplies during our 4 night stay. We didn't eat at the linked The Social Spoon restaurant because we felt that the prices were not in line with a budget hotel and found good alternatives nearby. Don't be put off with the downtown location and street people, because we were never harassed by anyone and moved around freely and safely."
