B&B in Holmes County

"We loved every minute of our stay at the Mount Vernon Inn. From the cookies and drinks when we arrived, to the super-comfortable room, to the exquisite gardens, to the fabulous breakfast, this was a truly special place to stay!"

"Clean, quiet and beautiful rooms snd land! Enjoyed our quiet stay! "

"Very well maintained super nice staff good food very good wine interesting older building with modern bathrooms ."

"The Garden Gate is a wonderful place, and I hope it will remain that way after is sold by the current owners. Carol the current owner has taken so much pride in her facility and invested so much of herself operating her business. Her influence is everywhere, but she has decided it is time for a new venture in her life, and so well deserved for her and Doug. We wish them the best as we do the new owners. If we make it back to Amish country, I would not hesitate to reserve another room."

"This is a beautiful house in a peaceful environment. It is well maintained and nicely decorated. A great get-a-way for a few days of rest."
