"Older property but locations is great! One block from miracle mile. Rooftop bar was great. Staff wonderful! Had a fitness center that I didn’t use but it was quite large with lots of equipment. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not spectacular. The bus stop is one block from hotel and runs frequently if you need to go downtown. Also can want subway station to go back and forth from airport. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby!"

"This hotel is on the brink, and it could go either up or down. The location is absolutely wonderful, right across the street from the Merchandise Mart, the beautiful RiverWalk, 1 block from some good restaurants and fun pubs. The waitstaff at the restaurant were excellent! However, in the room... broken towel bar. Repaired, but then drywall was left all over the bathroom and not cleaned, and they used our room towels (!!) while doing the repairs. So then we didn't have any clean towels, and had to keep calling over and over again, trying to get the room cleaned and fresh clean towels. Broken front door to the hotel, rather inconvenient esp with luggage. Thankfully the ADA compliant door worked well. Carpet was very sticky and the room smelled quite damp and musty. The furnishings were nicely updated, the bed linens were nice and clean, good pillows. The rooms and hallways were not well lit and felt gloomy. Beautiful views, but the windows were so dirty it was hard to see through them."

"I traveled during some flash storms and a tornado warning, causing leaks and drips all over the place. This overwhelmed the staff, and I feel they could have been supported better by property owners. Also, there was no activated protocol when the tornado warning came through, and that wasn't supportive to guests wondering where to go. Although staff was helpful and kind, it took them 24+ hours to rectify an issue I had when I first arrived. The place could use more sharpies, washcloths, activities and nearby recommendations to support solo traveling guests."

"Absolutely wonderful! A very nice neighborhood, quiet tree-lined, one-way street, easy on and off the freeway and excellent grocery store within walking distance. The kitchen is top level, the laundry in the basement and back garden are easily accessible via the private back stairs. Very comfortable living and dining space. The apartment is compact, but the four of us were quite comfortable. The host is excellent. Communication was quick and reliable, not to mention informative and very helpful. For those wondering about security, there were absolutely no concerns. Street parking is right in front and there's no traffic I could see except for residents. We routinely walked to the store and around the neighborhood in the evening and never saw anything of slightest concern. It was a marvelous experience"
