Idyllic island getaway

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"Quiet, gorgeous location and a lovely house. Appreciated the arrival gifts as we got there late. Well stocked kitchen however did miss having a few spices, other than salt, or some sugar and a few tea bags. The double bed mattress does need replacing. "

"We booked our 2 night stay a day prior as we decided last minute to get away. Neville communicated with us quickly and made sure the correct beds were made up, the house was immaculate when we arrived, photos do not do it justice. It is a lovely home from home and we wish we could have stayed longer we hope to return in the summer for a longer stay and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings a bit more. Our youngest son was very sad to be leaving this morning. Thank you for a lovely stay."

The Little Nest at The White Eagle

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (25)
"The Little Nest makes the most of the space it has. Very bright room, so eye masks should be packed. Character shash windows look good, but do let in the draught. Out of season rates are very good but check that the pub is open. Very high quality fittings. We enjoyed our stay."

The Roost at The White Eagle

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"A great location for us and being able to walk to the beach and also to do circular walks from the property was great - especially when you could call for a drink and food. The terrace was disappointing as I expected to be able to sit out and look at the view but it had air con unit on it and nothing to see. A nicely furnished and clean, comfy accommodation though - I’m not sure I would have liked to only be in The Little Nest though unless it was just a place to sleep"

Oyster Catcher - a ground floor bedroom that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"Oystercatcher maybe the nicest property we’ve ever stayed at. Beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. The three en-suites were perfect for our group and saved a lot of ā€œgetting readyā€ delays. Not a bad word. Area felt secluded but it wasn’t really. Very quiet but with places to go pretty close. Beach was gorgeous at sunset. All in it was a perfect location and property for our short break."
