Plantation Resort on Crystal River

8/10 Good

"Loved the location. Room was nice, clean and everything worked decent enough, except the shower curtain could use to be a little bit longer...shower pours water onto the floor where you can see black mold accumulating in the grout. I also thought the breakfast was served in an awfully small time window between 6:30-8 am...I checked out at 8:30 and wanted to grab a quick snack. I was surprised to see it was already all over. I know they are amidst renos so it's hard to give an accurate rating. I would stay here again in the future when renos are complete...I loved the golf course across the street. Lovely town here as well...super friendly people!"

Snorkel with the Manatees in Your Back Yard - Kayaks Included

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful location. Having kayaks and the ability to explore the nearby springs seeing fish and manatee every day was amazing. The hosts were very responsive to all the questions and needs we had during our stay. Highly recommend this property."

The Chassahowitzka Hotel

8/10 Good

"The place was isolated and peaceful. It was clean and a beautiful place to stay. I would definitely stay there again. Looking forward to coming back. I only had 1 complaint. The Manatee room that we stayed in smelt like dirty socks. I don't think that is that such of a bad thing. That is definitely something that can be fixed. Like I said, I am looking forward to coming back. Thank for a great time."

Mermaid Life Main River Sleeps 8 kayaks for everyone. Gulf access for scalloping

10/10 Excellent

"Karen was wonderful,, she had to help us at 10:30 pm. This home is made for families or 3 couples easily The decor is awesome! The screened in PORCH is perfect for outdoorgatherings. Very clean and very modern. Then you have the concrete steps straight into the crystal clear water. A swing with a cover. I cant wait to book during the summer. We booked in October and was able to kayak up and down the stream. Just a great place."

Spacious Riverfront Retreat. Sunset views with private Dock, Sleeps 12.

10/10 Excellent

"This was our 4th time staying at this house, and we’ve already booked it again for next year! It has become a tradition for our family, and we honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Homosassa. The house is perfect for large groups and families, with plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The brand-new kitchen cabinets and refrigerator were a great upgrade, the A/C worked flawlessly (which is a must in Florida!), and having a washer and dryer was such a convenient bonus.Outside is where this property really shines. The Adirondack chairs are incredibly comfortable and offer the best sunset views, and the large dock is fantastic for fishing. We spent so much time out there making memories. We did have one small issue during our stay, but the owners and the house manager responded immediately and had it resolved quickly. Their communication and customer service were outstanding. We’ve stayed at several places over the years, and this is, without a doubt, the best house you can rent in Homosassa. We can’t wait to come back next year!"
