"Very cool to be near so many things we wanted to do. Very small room but we expected that being downtown NYC. Could have used a refrigerator and some drawers or a cabinet in the bathroom. Otherwise we are happy to have stayed there. Will stay again planning ahead knowing the short-comings."

"Terrible experience at Hyatt Grand Central. The room was extremely dusty and not properly cleaned. We found hair in the shower, sink, on the floor, and even on the bed sheets. I went to the front desk to report the issue, and I was told that someone would come to clean the room, but no one ever showed up and nothing was done. It was very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this caliber. The room, and particularly the bathroom, is in desperate need of renovation. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the property were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again."

"There is no front desk, so when problems happen, nobody seems willing to take responsibility or help. I’m writing this review because I know many Korean travelers visit New York, and I don’t want anyone else to go through what my family experienced. On the day of check-in, we received a confirmation email and a passcode, but the passcode didn’t work. When I called customer service, I was told that the property was overbooked and that there was no accommodation available for us anymore. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. They confirmed our reservation, charged us in full before check-in, and then told us on the day of arrival that they had no room and that we should find another hotel ourselves. Do they realize how expensive it is to book a hotel in New York at the last minute? This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. I am deeply disappointed and expect a full refund and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and distress your mistake has caused"
