"Akan is an awesome place, and Hanayuuka hotel is a perfect place to stay in it. The lake is literally less than a minute walk from the terrace doors, and so is the cruise ship and motor boat places. The entrance to Kamuy Lumina (a fantastic night show about an ainu legend in the forest) is also very close. Amazing hotel
"This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the river and countryside. It is quiet and the rooms are very nice. I used the private baths with no waiting. The bar is a great whisky and wine bar. Complimentary ramen was very nice and filling. Other snacks are also given free. Staff were so friendly, and managed around my language barrier with ease and friendliness."
