"Beautiful hotel and a lovely stay despite ongoing construction works. We stayed on a Friday night and were mostly unaffected - some areas of the hotel were clearly ready to be updated but the facilities we used were brilliant. Our room was a river view and the balcony was not yet ready to be used. The room itself was a standard size but the cleanliness is what made it a great stay. We really appreciated the robes and slippers for using the onsite pool and spa. We absolutely loved the outdoor pool, it’s a shame we couldn’t use it past checkout time on our departure day as it had closed when we checked in on the Fri early evening. The breakfast is a higher price but we felt it was good value for money with what was available. We hope to visit again and make the most of the grounds and local area. Breakfast staff were the friendliest staff members we met during our stay. "

"Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and had a great shower. The location was awesome, but the parking with our car was difficult. Better parking instructions would have made our stay less of a hassle. The food was very good. "

"We stayed over following a wedding in Basingstoke. The Hotel was cheaper than a Travel lodge and certainly better than the aforementioned. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for a great stay. "
