"Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Onsen is amazing, beautiful gardens. Only drawback is that if don't eat at the restaurant not much close by and nothing else at the hotel. "

"Was a good stay and the in room onsen was a bonus. Breakfast and dinner were great though the dinner menu was very similar over the two nights we dined there. Service levels were consistently good though it's odd that they didn't clean our room on the second day. Overall it was a good enjoyable stay. P.S. while the hotel is near Gora station on paper, the walk there is incredibly exhausting with steep stairs and an endless incline. So if you're bringing young ones along, do take note."

There were plenty of time slots available and the staff was so helpful and kind especially with my young children. They even brought my 3 year old some crackers to cheer her up when she was cranky at breakfast. There are toys available in the lobby. It really feels like they thought of everything! I’m so happy we were able to have this first experience at a ryokan as a family."
