"The stay was average, it was £141.00 on a Monday night for a very small room without breakfast. The person who checked me in was nice, they gave me complimentary cookie which is a nice touch. I asked if there was a robe in the room and they spoke to the person next to her on reception and said not with the room you booked I could have got one for £10 however it was non refundable. The spa was really nice the highlight of the hotel. The hotel itself looks tatty on the outside, it’s ok on the inside nothing as spectacular as the photos look. The rooms themselves were very average. Worn down, cracks and stains. And if someone is in the corridor it’s extremely loud. Someone was on the phone speaking loudly in the other room and could hear everything they were saying plus the person on the phone so there is no soundproofing at all. It was ok for one night stay but not worth the rate I paid. On check out the person that was stood next to the nice lady that checked me in was there. When I checked out she didn’t ask me how my stay was just asked me what my room number was and have a good day, think there could be lots of improvements made to this hotel. "Enjoyed stay. Better value than some other similar hotels nearby. Close to town centre. Also like to give thanks to reception staff who who very helpful, kindly charging my iPhone in their office for me when it ran out charge. "

"Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Everything fresh, hot(where required) staff attentive and polite. Car parking on site very good. Rooms were clean large and everything you could need. Tea coffee milk endless supply if needed."

"The setting of this hotel is beautiful. The room we had was recently renovated and was extremely comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. We will be back to Harrogate and will definitely look to stay here again. The on-site Amber's restaurant is divine, and the food was amazing."

"The hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that left a mark was the bed, it was quite uncomfortable because it was not a double bed but one that was made up for two out of a single and what seemed to be a sort of pull out bed. That was the only minor thing during what was otherwise a lovely stay!! We did highlight to staff and hopefully they will upgrade the bed. Thank you to the staff who were brilliant !!!"
