"The hotel was very convenient and close to the seafront. The room was comfortable and it had a walk-in shower which I needed. I also have difficulty with stairs, so I chose the hotel because it has a lift. It also has plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly. Will stay there again next time I visit the Isle of Wight."

"We were welcomed and shown our room which was very comfortable, especially the beds. It's a lovely pub right in the centre of town and a minute's walk from the ferry. Only one key between the two of us. We're not a couple so may have wanted to go home at different times which would've been awkward. The bathroom layout was weird. The bath was placed under a sloping ceiling so you couldn't stand up for a shower, and the door didn't lock. Nice hot water though."

"There was no wardrobe or desk in the room The shower was magnificent The staff were superlative Obviously there is no lift as it is an old building not the staff took my luggage to the room The location is excellent For a single male the accommodation is fine but I imagine ladies would expect more comfort I had a wonderful stay and the staff were wonderful "

We also had a meal and a couple of drinks on the evening we arrived, and I can say that it was the best we'd had for a long time. Totally blew away a lot of the mainland pubs. "I was made to feel very comfortable as a lady solo traveller, everyone was very friendly especially the lady that served the breakfast. The food was amazing and being seated in a nice little table in the corner was perfect for me and I didn't feel isolated.... thank you so much. The view was amazing from the balcony and so nice to hear the waves whilst in bed. Will definitely be back, great stay!!"
