"Overall, great historic hotel that has recently gone through a major restoration and upgrades. Great romantic atmosphere, beautiful architecture and decor, perfect location, close to both the harbor and the old city. Central station and diverse shopping and dining options nearby. My room was very tiny and I would prefer a more practical VIP gift than a huge bottle 🍾 of bubbly for a solo traveler. Breakfast is available and good but overpriced."

"We arrived in the rain at the train station, from which it was an easy —and dry—walk through Bruun's Galleri, where we later got a meal. The room was tiny, but had everything we needed, including a view toward the harbor. The simple breakfast was great, except the juices."

"Wonderful staff!!, great location with dining, shopping, train station 5 min walk, center of town 5-10 min walk, fantastic breakfast buffet. Offered complimentary coffee/tea, ice cream, desserts, fruits in the afternoon. Our room faced traffic, very noisy, no air conditioning so windows had to be opened. Would stay again!!!"
