"Every year I spend a week with my four older grandchildren. We call it Camp T-Ma. (T-Ma is my grandmother name) The kids loved the river, climbing on the rocks, swimming and fishing. They camped out, or tried to, one night in a tent. We went to Grandfather Mountain, and then hiked a great trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Another day we drove to Damascus to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. The hot tub was a big hit! We loved it!!! "

"Wonderful property for our family vacation! Secluded without any neighbors in sight. Loved exploring the creek and spotting deer as we drove through the neighborhood. Fantastic views of the wooded surroundings with the huge picture windows. Pinball machine and jetted tub not working, but all other amenities more than made up for that. Nice creek side firepit and hot tub on deck were favorite evening activities. Highly recommend!"

"We are very familiar with the area but never imagined such a cute chalet was tucked back into Hound Ears! It had everything we could need, and the check-in process was seamless; I am not surprised that Waters Fall has so many high reviews. We will be back to stay in Lynn’s beautiful home again soon! The location was ideal, with the patio, screened porch, and such comfortable beds! Can’t wait to return. "
"This is a perfect getaway location. We enjoyed the privacy and the location is near Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Quiet & apartment is perfect. Kitchen had premier cooking utensils, pans, and I loved the extra care with coffee or tea and dishes. Excellent one room for a couple. Walking up to the garden house called Mole Hill is an extra perk. We loved Badger’s Den and the theme from Wind in the Willows!"

"This house worked well for our family this weekend. Super clean and well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, mugs, etc. no spices). Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels provided-for showers and hot tub. The hot tub was fabulous! Great location if you’re looking to hike. Lots of trails close by and right near Blue Ridge Parkway. The only thing missing was shampoo. Be sure to bring your own! "

"Great weekend to getaway from Raleigh heat and bustle. Cabin feels remote but only minutes from plenty of eateries and activities. View and access to river was awesome. Enjoyed lazy hangs with dogs on screen porch overlooking river. Clean, modern, easy check-in and out. Nice big bathroom and comfy leather sofas. Highly recommend for cozy stay. "
