Fantastic get away

The location is great - the end of a narrow fjord and surrounded by very steep mountains. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed it every much. Service was friendly and make sure your needs were met. We got to breakfast late but Dominika made sure we still had a great meal.

Very nice little hotel, warm welcome, clean room with beautiful view to the fjord. My suggestion to the host when you offer breakfast at the additional cost please make sure it is decent and please do not act rude when being asked about vegetarian alternatives. There were none, so we being vegetarian felt tricked into paying for nothing.

Fint opphold

Fint sted å stoppe for en natt pause i reisingen/kjøringen. Rolig sted med flott natur og badenulighet rett ved hotellet. Rommet var greit, nydelig utsikt, men litt varmt om sommeren og myke senger.

Huset er under renovering, og det ser lidt 'slidt' ud visse steder - men værelserne er fine, og beliggenheden samt en UDSØGT personlig service opvejer det rigeligt.

Owners are very nice and hospitable. Location has a beautiful view and both breakfast and dinner was fresh made by owners. Place is clean and rooms are taken care of although hotel is slightly dated. However the friendly owners make up for the outdated building and the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.

Styr unna!!!

Ekstremt overpriset, både overnatting og IKKE MINST maten i restauranten. Bare to retter på menyen, begge halvfabrikata: pizza og fish' n chips. Betalte kr 295 og 345 for dette, vi fikk sjokk. Og nei, ingen meny vi kunne se prisene på. 125 kr for boksøl.... Madrassen på sengen var utslitt så til de grader. Kranen på badet lekket, dusjkabinett. Ikke varm mat frokost, og den kostet kr 150. Kommer aldri tilbake.

We had a fine stay, and the staff was very kind and helpful, but the hotel needs a serious renovation. The window sill seemed rotten.The smell of frying-oil was everywhere. The hotel is very overpriced. We stayed at an Airport Hotel in Kastrup with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars for the same price as Sogn Hotel which is ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. Furthermore, some of the facilities listed on hotels.com are not true.

We loved this hotel. The owners were fluent in both norwegian and english. The rooms were fun with different famous norwegians as themes to the rooms. Dinner was great! hand made pizza with wine. Breakfast was wonderful too.Eggs, bacon, all the traditional norwegian breakfast foods too. enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the harbor through the window we'd opened. Would def. stay again

Dårlig info ang. priser. Lading av elbil kostet 200,- pr. dag. dette er langt over hva dette burde koste, prisen ble heller ikke opplyst om før ved avreise. Betjeningen virket hyggelige, men mangel på info. Følte prisen på lading var det som fikk dette til å bli en Veldig dårlig opplevelse. Andre hotteller tar langt unna denne prisen. Prisen på rommet var også i overkant dyrt sammenlignet med kvalitet.

Enkelt hotell med vakker utsikt til fjorden

Ble en overnatting ved Sognefjorden før ferden videre i Norges land. Fikk følelsen av å overnatte på skole fra 90 tallet. Rommet var rent og pent som er viktig å si. Hotellet bare føles veldig utdatert og slitent hele veien.Badet gir minner til 80-90 tallet. Veldig enkel servering men maten var god. Hyggelig betjening og en fantastisk fin utsikt til fjorden . Litt stiv pris.

Nice stay at Sogn hotel

The staff were really nice and friendly. Parking is rigth outside the hotel with more spaces just next to it if they are all taken. The staff recommended buying the breakfast for 100 NOK per person, and that was surely worth it. The eggs were really tasty and we didn't miss anything. The location is just by the fjord. Our rooms were facing the Sogn fjord where we could observe the fish and birds in the morning. The rooms were a bit older. The beds are just fine and you will sleep like a baby. The bath rooms are a bit out of date though, probably from when the hotel was built. A recommendation to the hotel is to replace the sink and get new showers as this would lift the entire experience.

Pris på oppholdet stemte ikke med annonsen. Det sto at frokost var inkludert, det var det ikke. Frokosten var ikke slik vi bestilte. Og det var ingen god kokk som tilberedte den. Middagen var spartansk og dyr i forhold til den mengde og kvalitet vi fikk.

Ved ankomst tænkte vi at der nok slet ikke var åbent. Så meget forladt ud og rodede omgivelser og svært at se hvor man skulle gå ind. Virkede meget tomt også indendørs. Løs hund i receptionen. Ok indtjekning - flink dame. Mulighed for tilkøb af aftensmad og morgenmad. Vi så ingen andre gæster på hotellet. Meget dyrt i forhold til hvad vi har fået andre steder i Norge fir de samme penge. Ikke valuta for pengene. Men god beliggenhed ved E39.

Wat een persoonlijke service en aandacht. Heerlijk gedineerd en ‘s morgens een uitgebreid uitgeserveerd ontbijt. We hadden een kamer met schitterend uitzicht op het fjord. Een echte aanrader voor wie service belangrijker is dan het laatste type TV. Een mooie stopplaats van of naar Bergen op de E39.
