"Room is very clean. Hotel is very new. Restaurant has good Italian food. Area is convenient to transit. Right next to the metro. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Lounge has water and coffee/tea. Very comfortable stay. Shower was big and comfortable; washroom has a cool toilet that opens and closes automatically as you enter and leave the washroom. :D"

"The hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and all spoke English well. The room was very comfortable and clean. The station is less than a 5 minute walk. They also offer taxi assistance to the airport, but not a shuttle. You do have to pay within 1330 twd. Still a great stay "

The hotel is located a 15-minute walk from Taipei Station and a 5-minute walk from Zhongshan Station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The room was also clean and comfortable. "This hotel is affordable, have a great friendly staff and a great location. Dongmen MRT station is close with the red and orange line intersecting here. The orange line gives you access to the green and blue line easily. This saves time traveling around the city. Bathrooms are clean and the cafe lounge is accessible during the day to drink coffee. Not many hotels have a cafe lounge where you can chill out in the afternoon. "

"We had a wonderful stay at San Want. While the room was somewhat basic, we had everything we needed, AC was quiet, beds comfortable and clean, big bathroom. Staff was wonderful and very responsive and kind. Breakfast was delicious! The tea and coffee was just excellent, and we are picky. We will be back when visiting Taipei."

"Very grand, but dated. Enjoyed the location wonderful staff was surprised to be charged for a soda in the mini bar when other hotels in Taiwan did not. There were no signs that indicated and that housekeeper had replaced it after the first night. State there because it’s reasonably close to the main station and pricing was good"
