"This is a lovely hotel in a very rural area of Virginia. We were very happy with the quality and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Only reason that it's not a 5 star is because the microwave was non- functional. Otherwise, fantastic place."

"Excellent in all aspects of the stay. My go to when visiting my son. 3rd time here and never disappointed. Staff so nice property kept up well. Beds so comfortable you don’t want to get up. Coffee always available in the lobby. Also wine available for sale. Love love it ."

"We have been here twice and it is a great National Park facility. Rooms were clean. This is a bit rustic. TV cable had only 9 channels and no phones in rooms. Views were limited as trees blocked views from rooms. Food was OK but menu was very limited and it seemed that a few more staff may have improved speed of service. We still recommend this location but you need to be prepared for this location. Big Meadows is also another location a bit further along the drive. Slightly different food menu but power was out when we stopped by. Seems like a nice facility too."

"The hotel and all amenities were fine. When I went to check in I was told I had gone through a search site to book the room, which I had not. I booked directly with them, I had to get that clear before I could use my AAA discount."
