"We were thrilled with this hotel from our arrival. We were met at the door by an amazing employee, who helped us with our luggage, helped us get checked in, brought our luggage to our room quickly, and was such a pleasure. The rooms are clean and very spacious, but you can tell that the hotel is older. The "stand-up" shower was very small, but there was shower capability in the tub that worked for my husband. The breakfast was nice, but very "English", which limited choices for Americans. All said, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again."

A few more plugins and lights in the hotel room would have been helpful. It was a beautiful room but a bit dark. "

"Booking this holiday with Expedia turned out costly for us, we booked this hotel as it was dog friendly but when we arrived and they saw our dog they was you haven’t booked a dog but there was nowhere to prebook on the Expedia site. We didn’t mind paying £15 per night for dog but they also charged us £20 per night for having to change our room "

"There was an issue at the hotel where the sprinkler system was activated due to a fellow guest. The staff handled if very well in the circumstances. Recommend staying here and we will be staying again. Five star service…"

"A compact room with wonderful views overlooking the harbor. Staff was polite and respectful. It was very quiet. I wouldn’t say that the location was convenient but it was pretty. We stayed here before a cruise and don’t regret it. The bed was comfortable and the included gin was a big hit with my partner. "
