"We rented the 3BR/3BA unit that is the entire upstairs level of Watzara Wasi. What an incredible and beautifully constructed place! The owner, Rolando, and his lovely wife and kids live downstairs. They allowed us complete privacy but were always available if we needed anything. We purposely chose to stay here, outside of the main area of Cotacachi, because we wanted to be in a more rural area with local people. "Spacious, comfortable place to stay right by the lake. Safe neighborhood, secure parking, and the bilingual host treats you like family. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Luis and his wonderful family are very knowledgeable about the area and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend!"
