"Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass der Vermieter sehr freundlich war.Leider waren wir hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung sehr enttäuscht. Wir erwarten wirklich nicht viel, aber eine gute Grundreinigung vorab eben schon. Schubladen, Geschirr etc. waren teils verschmutzt und/oder verstaubt. Überall im Haus - auch im Bett, der Waschmaschine und den Schränken - waren Hundehaare zu finden. (Man bezahlt für einen Hund wegen der Reinigung einen ordentlichen Aufschlag.)Das Bett war wahnsinnig...

"Centrally located calm charming house in Varengeville, with a romantic garden and good restaurant across the street. Very good butcher, baker and small supermarket within 10 minutes walking distance. 20 minutes to the beautiful beach, which you can walk during ebb. Very nice warm english speaking hostess. "Top Ferienhaus in guter Lage mitten im Ort. Sehr ruhig da das Haus in zweiter Reihe steht. Der riesige, komplett eingezäunte Garten war ein Paradies für unseren Hund. Die Ausstattung ist komplett und top. Ein kleiner Hinweis ohne negative Wertung: Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist etwas steiler als auf den Bildern zu sehen. Auch ein zweites Sofa wäre toll, ist etwas zu wenig wenn man mit 4 Personen im Haus ist. Wie bereits gesagt, keine Wertung nur eine Anregung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. "

"Pleasant rustic farmhouse in a quiet area, lovely garden. Good location for short drives to various places along the sea. Spacious downstairs area, but low eaves upstairs, one broken bed (in room with two singles together) and well-worn pillows (reported to agency). Downstairs ensuite double bedroom suits an older person well, although note that property access involves a few steps or a walk across an uneven lawn. Sitting area could do with updated seat cushions on the rather sunken chairs,...

"The hotel is ideal for the station and exploring the old town or Rouen. Our party was on the 1st and 2nd floors and we experienced no noise. The rooms are on the small side but have all you need for a couple of nights-the bathrooms are surprisingly large. Our rooms had a modern stylist decor. We opted for the express breakfast for 10euros which was all we needed of a morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Value for money."

"We stayed there with a family of 4 (2 college-age kids.) The kids slept on a sofa bed that pulled out to 2 twin beds. There was enough space in the room. We could walk to everything…especially the lovely pastry shops. We loved exploring the mid-evil streets, eating at Paul’s Brasserie, seeing the beautiful cathedrals, and soaking in the chill vibes of Rouen! The pastries at Bastien were amazing! So amazing, I went back just to get more. We parked our car on-site, which was nice. At only .80 Euros an hour, this was a great value. We drove to Fe Camp to visit with family, and it was a beautiful ride with farms, cideries, and a beautiful coast. (And WWII history.)"
