"I love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding."

"This place was fantastic. Clean and everything we wanted for our beach getaway. Communication was more than great. We scheduled 2 nights and 3 days. Decided we wanted to go a day earlier and the process was super easy and owner was very flexible. Fishing was great. Only caught catfish mostly because of the time of year but caught plenty of keepers. Also caught plenty of legal crab to cook with the fish. Only complaint would be the boaters going in and out of the creek causing issues with the fishing but that has nothing to do with this wonderful place. The whole family had a blast and we will for sure be back! "
