"This is a classic 'old Florida' hotel, which we liked very much. There are rough edges, but none of those detracted in the slightest from enjoying our stay.
The beach was perfect - we could walk out 100 yards at low tide into crystal clear water.
The area is safe and there's plenty of places to eat. We can suggest The Salty Goat if you want great food at an outstanding price.
I lived in the Caribbean for over twenty years. Panama City Beach is up there with the best anywhere: safe, clean and fun!"
"The staff was so accommodating! They had a full night before I arrived, but rushed a room ready to accommodate my family to avoid waiting too long. The valet attendant was also very helpful, even though I used Lyft during my stay. This place is definitely a MUST stay! 10/10 customer service and hospitality!"
"It is in a great location. The room ( partial view of the ocean) that was originally given to us smelled like mold it had mold in the tub, outlets, switches, dust on the sprinkler system & fire alarm. And some light bulbs were out in the room and in the patio.
We brought this to the attention of the staff & we were given another room which was so much better. But there was black mold in the tub. I also brought this to the staffs attention.
The breakfast was ok, the eggs were a bit watered down. Coffee was weak.
When you go into the dinning room there is another part of the kitchen where they will make fresh omelets for you they way you like it. Which in my opinion were really good.
This hotel’s pool is really small & can get really crowded. The outside is very well kept & beautiful. There are 3 restaurants on the property they all stop serving food at 9pm.
The private beach was beautiful my kids & I had an amazing time, they do have umbrellas & chairs there you have to rent them if you want to use them.
Over all we had a great time, but the rooms need to be better kept for the price."
"I absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere of the No. 77 Hotel! It has a really cool, unique feel and is in a great location.
However, if you’re a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend requesting a room away from the first floor and the street. There was construction nearby, and I could hear every car that drove over the metal plates in the road throughout the night. There’s also a club right outside, so the noise can definitely be an issue if you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep.
If you’re in New Orleans to have a good time, enjoy the nightlife, and don’t mind a little noise, I would highly recommend this hotel. I really enjoyed the hotel itself—I just wish I had been placed in a quieter room."
"Beautiful stay at the Hyatt House. The room was very clean. The bar was very nice and service was great. The pool was clean and well maintained. Overall, fantastic experience! Not too far from the beach either which was a plus! Highly recommend this hotel."
