The Victoria Regia (Victoria amazonica), is the largest water lily on Earth. It can only be found growing wild in the Amazon rainforest. The lily has perfectly round leaves with an upturned edge. The lilies can grow to over 6 feet in diameter and can sustain the weight of a small sized animal like a rabbit. Its beautiful flowers are white or light pink with a slight of red on the outer edges.

"Searching for reviews on this hotel all were very good. But I didn't have such a good experience, for many reasons. 1- When I arrived they couldn't find my reservation. I was asked for paying although the payment was comprised in my booking. 2- the air conditioner didn't work properly... was whether too warm or too cold. Besides, the bed was placed below the cold air outlet, very uncomfortable!! 3- Although clean, the shower didn't have any curtain or box, and water was spread out all over...

"I did the 4 day bus from Sao Paulo to Manaus and there was no question that this where I wanted to stay. I've stayed here before and love it. Great staff, great location, great price, elevators, great water pressure in the shower. I absolutely love staying here."

"Simple hotel but does the job. Nice size bedroom. In-room food is excellent and good price. Breakfast with tapioca and omeletes and everything else. There is a fancy big shopping mall one block away. And good restaurants around. Location is perfect in my opinion. You’re not downtown which I think is good and safer but you can go there in 15 min but taxi or uber. Staffing is very nice. I highly recommend this hotel. "
