Southern California's very own Renaissance Pleasure Faire runs from early April through mid-May each year. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it for a day filled with fun. Plenty of shows, games, merchandise, activities for all ages, food, and (of course!) beer.

"citizenM was a diamond in the rough. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is super modern and really cool! I'll recommend citizenM to anypne staying in DTLA. But the neighborhood near the hotel was very dilapidated and smelled like urine on every block. We spent the reminder of our time in L.A. away from DTLA. "

Hotel Burbank

"I loved staying at Hotel Burbank. The room was so relaxing and comfortable that I actually had the best sleep I've had in years! Bed, pillows and sheets were soft and clean. The air flow was great with the ability to adjust the temperature so that you can have the perfect temperature in your room. In addition, the staff were so pleasant and kind. I have to especially do a shout out to Jeremy (and the person who originally checked me in - I don't know his name... he was so great too!). And Jeremy went above and beyond to help me out. While out in Los Angeles, I had my wallet stolen (not in Burbank) and Jeremy did everything he could to help me. I hope he gets many and ample bonuses because not only is he professional, but he is also kind and aware. And really contributed to my stay being fantastic. Thank you so much! I have so much gratitude for you all. And I will be back. :)"
