"We stayed at Seagate for 1 night. Had a wonderful stay! The family owned managers are very prompt & really helpful. The rooms were very clean, cozy & property is nestled in greenery (with horses to feed) so it’s very soothing. It is very close to the ferry dock so travel to & fro ferry is easy. It is about 15-20 mins away by taxi to Esperanza, which can be a consideration for longer stays. "

"The pools were nice, the room was clean and spacious. I was disappointed that there wasn't a coffee maker, a blow-dryer or any of the usual amenities. There were shared microwaves in the hall but no means of cooking in your room. The restaurant was excellent and you can easily share a meal as portions are large. The staff are friendly and when the wifi wasn't working they called the company and got it back up the next day. Overall, I would recommend staying here and would give it 4.5 stars out of 5."

"Blue Horizon was everything I wanted it to be... and MUCH MORE !!!... The "MUCH MORE" part comes in the form of.. DAVE !!!... MANAGER/CONCIERGE/HOST... he is ALL of these things... and performs every position with APLOMB !!!... Man oh man... Dave checked me in and was a helpful host... IMMEDIATELY !!!!... The guy literally walked me to my room... brushing away palm fronds that dared to be in the way of our path !!!... On the way, he talked about the hotel, the amenities... He explained everything... and, very kindly, asked if there was ANYTHING i needed or wanted to know !!!... He made me feel WELCOMED... he is the personification of "WELCOMING"... and, when you are staying on a UNIQUE ISLAND... that is a FANTASTIC THING !!!... DAVE is the SUPERSTAR at BLUE HORIZON, there is NO DOUBT.... but, i must say, that EVERYONE on the STAFF was FRIENDLY, ACCOMMODATING and SUPER HOSPITABLE !!!... As for the HOTEL... WOW, just WOW... a TRUE... and VERY SPECIAL... GEM !!!!!!!!!!... I enjoyed EVERY MOMENT of my STAY !!!"
