Absolutely loved it and will be back! The staff was friendly, super helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean with great amenities and you just can't beat those views. Location is fantastic for exploring the Central and South side of Isla Mujeres and I would highly recommend staying here - I will be back on future trips!

Pro:The room was always cleaned. The view from the balcony was incredible. The staff were very kind and as helpful as they could be. Accomodations were made when possible. Con: had to ask for a blow dryer for the room. We had spotty Internet at best, which meant TV did not work. Advertisement says fridge in room - no. And no hot water in shower.

I was looking for peaceful place to stay and explore the island. The room was perfect and spacious. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Bathroom supplied toliries. Staff was gracious and always available. Light fare breakfast of fruit and fresh pastries was great way to start the day. 2 higher end restaurant next door and many with in walking. Right down ally to bus( cheapest way to get around island 20 pesos) and could walk to Punta sur, Garrafon park, kin ha. It’s not a party spot or resort vibe but that’s not what I wanted and provided an oasis away from tourists traffic areas. Pool is small but beautiful and well maintained with outdoor grill area available and lots of loungers.

Solo Stay Azulea

This place was so beautiful and quiet. I loved it. The people were so helpful. The front desk also helped me with getting a ride around the island to take some pictures from the taxi driver. The complimentary breakfast was simple and delicious. They had an espresso machine, pan dulce and fruits available. My room overlooked the surrounding jungle and beach it was amazing.

Ok, so I will get this out of the way, I liked it. It could be much better, which is why it doesn't deserve 5 stars, but read my review to see why. The staff, for the most part, is very friendly. We were greeted by the attendant and he (JaAir (no idea how to spell it) was really nice. The lady who cleans the room and makes breakfast was also really nice. For our family, this side of the island is quieter, and that was amazing. If we had stayed on the north side of the island, we would have left. What would make this place better, update the rooms, they were clean but you can tell the salt air wears them. The air conditioning was great. Dishes and stuff were fine. The shower head should be replaced. It says spa, but it didn't have a spa feel. We reserved the hot tub, but we had to figure that out; they never said how that worked, so that was a bit annoying. The breakfast is not breakfast, it is a few snack breads with some fruit, wish it was more, or had a community dinner one night a week. The pool is nice, but dang, it is too cold. The ocean was much warmer. Rent a golf cart first thing and use it all week. This is off the beaten path. Eat at Ulan within a mile walking. Hotwater takes longer than it should, so be patient. I like this place and would love to say more, but I'm limited on the number of characters.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a one bedroom unit with a view of the ocean which was amazing - we could see the eastern Caribbean side of the island and also the Cancun shoreline from our unit. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. It is located in the southern part of the island so you would need to rent a golf cart or utilize taxis to get around. We love having the golf cart to explore the island so we were very happy with the location. The staff was wonderful and friendly very helpful with any questions or needs that we had. It was a great value for the price that we paid, having the space with a comfortable living room to relax in and a full kitchen was ideal for us.

It’s difficult to get around, also it’s a bit difficult to walk to it. I’m a solo traveler and it was inconvenient to get something to eat or water or snacks. The property was clean. Loved the bed! Had a great rest!!

The hotel reviews are misleading. I had no hot water, electricity only worked on some outlets, refrigerator did not work, the rear sliding door lock was broken, did not lock. I changed Hotels the next day. The Hotel offered no resolve to the problems.

This property had a comfortable bed, nice staff. Although it had a kitchen, it had no tea towels, no paper towel. Also i had to continuously ask for TP and water. More an apartment style, not necessarily for a holiday.

Worst place ever it’s in a horrible location down the worst roads on the island When we got there and they didn’t have power or water and We waited for the power for over 10 hours it never came on. We finally left, went and got another hotel and they won’t refund me for either night because they say it was out of there control! , I would not recommend going or staying at this place to anyone

No one at desk to check in. Our shower leaked out onto floor, you had to let water run 15 min to get warm, no plug in outlets beside either side of bed, no wash cloths, only 1 hand towel. No dresser or shelves to put clothes, only a small wardrobe with 4 hangers. No coffee pot. No response from management to date.Stayed 1 night out of 7! Left! Contacted Expedia, they contacted hotel and hotel refused to refund!
