Apartment was clean and well equipped. Only issue for us was that it’s quite noisy given its location. There is also a school next door which gets loud around 8am. Overall still a good stay

Pros: Great value. Very nice common pool area. Spacious living room/kitchen areas. In-suite laundry was a bonus, although we didn't use it. Cons: No safe. Recommendation: Request a room above the ground floor.

This place was great! The men at front desk were always so nice and helpful! The condo was very clean and newly renovated! Loved it had a kitchen and washer! It was pretty much in the middle. So was walking distance from ferry and the beach!

A shout out to the team (Esteban) at "la poza", we couldn't have asked for more. The Condo and the locatuon was excellent. The beach is a block away to your right. Four great breakfast restaurant to the right had side next to the mercado. A bank right in front to change your dollars. A GOLF cart rental in front of the condos. The island is four(4) miles long. Excellent restaurants for dinner a block away. Convenient stores, pharmacy, bakerys, coffee shops all around. The bottom floor ofthecondo has a coffee shop and healthy food store, ah and yes a "spa", make your reservation. Great vacation in Isla mujeres!!!!

Mixed Feelings

The hotel looks new and the condo is beautiful and nicely equipped. There are no amenities except for a lovely rooftop pool. I’m glad that our place faced the direction of the ocean because the street side is really loud. However, there’s an elementary school on the backside and the incredibly loud morning songs and the teacher on loud speaker could have woken the dead. Chaise lounges on the terrace would have been a nice touch, as well as robes. Comparably priced hotels such as El Secreto offer so much more. There was no safe in our room, which most places offer, and since there was not 24 hour security leaving valuables in our room made us nervous. Lumbar pillows would have made the sofa and bed more comfortable. We would definitely not stay here again. There wasn’t even a shelf in the shower so we had to leave our shampoo and soap on the floor. Walking in the door the first impression is great, but the condo was not thoughtfully designed. The owner should stay in the unit for a week to understand why the place is lacking for the price.

We had an amazing time at La Poza! We initially booked for one night, but the accommodations were so comfortable and convenient that we ended up staying for six! The unit was spotless, modern, and cozy, with a separate bedroom (with TV), living area (with TV), and kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge, and stove-top (no oven). While our unit was located on the first floor without a view, the upper floors offered views of the town looking out toward the ocean. We also appreciated the rooftop pool and convenient location. The hotel is just a short walk from the main street lined with restaurants, bars, and shops, and within a 10-minute walk to Playa Norte and the ferry. A golf cart rental shop is conveniently located across the street, making it easy to explore the island. One thing to note is that there is a school next door that can get loud with music starting @8:35am for 30-60 minutes on school days (which was M-Th during our stay). However, it was very quiet during the rest of the day and night. Esteban at the front desk was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we always felt safe with staff available day and night. Overall, we highly recommend La Poza for those looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and conveniently located place to stay on Isla Mujeres.

El paraíso, los departamentos están en el centro, todo a menos de 5 minutos andando, tanto a la plaza del centro, al super aki, al ferry, a playa norte y playa centro, arriba buena piscina, para hacerse el desayuno las cocinas muy bien, y para comer y cenar está toda la parte del centro a 5 min andando, lleno de restaurantes, aires acondicionados perfectos, para larga estancia merece la pena la comodidad
