"Had a great time staying here. It was right on the beach and so convenient. You could go run to your room and be back in the ocean in 30 seconds. Room was clean and comfortable. Property is no frills but staff was wonderful. You can rent a golf cart and park it right there. You can walk to town in 5 minutes and lots of bars and restaurants. Would 10000% stay again."

"We recently stayed at Mia Reef Isla Mujeres and overall had a good experience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, hardworking, and genuinely focused on making our vacation enjoyable. Their excellent service is what truly made this trip special. The location is absolutely incredible. The resort sits in one of the most beautiful spots on Isla Mujeres, with stunning views and easy access to crystal-clear water. You really can’t ask for a better setting. There are some areas where the resort could improve. The food was probably the biggest disappointment. While there was always something available, the quality, variety, and overall dining experience could be significantly better. The resort has clearly invested in upgrades, and you can see improvements in some of the rooms and facilities. However, there is still work to be done, as certain areas feel dated and could benefit from additional renovations and maintenance. One suggestion would be to install nets or barriers to help capture some of the sargassum during the summer months and increase beach cleaning throughout the day. The natural beauty of the location is one of the resort’s greatest assets, and keeping the beaches as clear as possible would enhance the guest experience even further. Despite a few shortcomings, we had a great stay thanks to the outstanding employees. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication left a lasting impression."

"Loved our stay they kindly upgraded me and we had a lovely big room ! Beach is beautiful did a fab yoga class and the classes are fun. Great location. Only thing I didn’t like is not being able to use sunbeds on beach area next to pool unless you spend money on drinks ! Should be free!!"

"The hotel is among the best places my family and I have ever stayed. I travel for a living and spend 80% of my life in hotels from 4*-5*+. The staff were exceptionally well prepared, equipped, and willing to help in every single matter. They provided the kindest service as well, not a corporate enforced kind of service but a genuine desire to make their guests feel at home, welcome, comfortable, and happy. The beach front is second to none, the restaurant was extremely clean and delicious. The drinks well made. The beach service from the staff quick, attentive, easy, and very helpful always. The hotel room itself was well stocked, everything was super clean, elegant, and comfortable. It’s such a great hotel my wife and I discussed at length when we will return and are seriously considering coming for many weeks at a time. As a well versed international traveler this hotel has been nothing short of a “miracle” to use my sons’ words. We walked around also on the island to look at other facilities and from what we saw this was the best, it well equipped for children, but not in a Disney sort of immature way. Highest recommendation possible."

"Desayunamos en el restaurante BUHOS un par de días. Fue lo más bajo de estas vacaciones. El servicio al cliente es pésimo, especialmente el de la mánager de Buhos, que no tiene trato y siempre está de mal humor. Esto contagia a todos los meseros. Ella necesita mejorar su trato con los clientes."
