Beautiful location. The rooms were clean. They were very attentive to our needs. Prepared breakfast and dinner for us. A great tour of the Uros islands was also included. If anyone is visiting during the Peru winter season i would just recommend layering up. They do provide a lot of blankets but you can never have too many. An unforgettable experience seeing the stars out on this lake. 10/10

The hotel is about a 15-20 min taxi ride from the main part of town. And have the address handy as the driver didn't know where it was right away. But it's on a main highway so he ended up finding it. Since it's so far out, we made friends with the taxi driver and he ended up being our driver while we were in Puno. I think we paid $25 soles (like $9 US) each way to town and then back. The moment we walked in the door we were welcomed and amazed. The view of the lake was breathtaking!! It didn't...

The place and staff were exceptional. The only problem I had with it all was it was an extremely cold, cloudy day. After arriving about 2 PM, on a freezing day, and after seeing my jetted tub in the window nook, all I wanted was the promised 24 hour available hot water that was promised. Unfortunately, there was not only NOT a showers worth of hot water, but also not even a moments worth of hot water. The margins were warmer than freezing, and just colder than tepid. This hotel is located in a peaceful, beautiful setting. Our room was very clean and our meals there were very good. The service was friendly, helpful and caring.

Uros lake will be more beautiful that it is, if the community takes care of the lake. Under the houses/cabin, and in the water you could see garbages, many plastic bottles or plastic bags. Unfortunately the main care of the community is get money (to feed their family and improve the schools and communityaround there but they are not doing that). They know that for the tourists is going to pay for the tours and what ever souvenirs thay are selling, and thy are getting more expensive. The cabin...
