Welcome to The Coastal Cottage, a renovated three bedroom beach home situated alongside a peaceful lagoon within the Pelican Bay Community of Wild Dunes Resort! This bright & airy beach retreat is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach and just around the corner from the Pelican Bay community pool. There are several gathering areas within the cottage -- you and your guests can relax & unwind in the living room, dining room, screened porch overlooking the lagoon or the open deck accessible from the master suite. Come, getaway from it all and experience this wonderful cottage for yourself!

Guests enter The Coastal Cottage by walking up the exterior stairs to the front door. Upon entering the cottage, you will find the living room, staircase to the upper floor, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom suite. You can access the private screened porch with outdoor dining table through the French doors in the dining room. The screened porch also connects to the back deck. Walk up the interior staircase to access the two guest bedroom suites on the second floor and the full sized washing machine & dryer.

The Coastal Cottage is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. Please be mindful of the residential character of the home during your stay.

NO PETS. NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. These are causes for eviction with no refund, and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. Easy Beach Relaxation

This house had everything we needed for an easy vacation at the beach! The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen is very well stocked and the indoor and outdoor living areas are perfect. The walk to the sand is maybe five minutes and to the water thirty seconds more. This is house in in a resort so the beach is private, clean, and an unexpected surprise. We will stay here again!

Fantastic find in Wild Dunes

We have stayed in many rentals and rooms in Wild Dunes and rank The Coastal Cottage our favorite. The house is just the right size for a family of five with teenagers. It’s cute and clean, well stocked and furnished, and an easy walk to the beach and resort amenities. We’ll be back and will recommend it to our family and friends.

A little coastal treasure

Lovely Coastal Cottage

This cottage was perfect for a gathering of friends. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. House was well-appointed. Pretty neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. And loved the view of the lagoon while sitting on the deck.

Great Rental!

Three friends of 46 year stayed for a wonderful long weekend. The house is perfect! Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Pool is steps away and beach a very quick walk. There was a beach buggy for the chairs, towels, bags which was an unexpected plus. Can’t go wrong with this rental. Check in and check out process was seamless.

Awesome house! Awesome location!

Our group of 4 loved every minute of our week at Coastal Cottage! The house was immaculate and exactly as shown in pictures. Kitchen was very well equipped, living spaces were comfortable, wi-fi was strong and reliable, and the screened porch was perfect for outdoor meals. Best of all was how close to the beach we were; less than a 5 minute walk. Stephen was a great host; responsive and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We hated leaving and can't wait to return!

Overpriced, wouldn’t stay here again.

We have stayed in multiple houses in Wild Dunes and have even stayed in Pelican Bay before. This house was okay, but absolutely does not warrant the price based on our experience. Overall it was fine and we had a great week. The house did not by any means have big major issues. However, lots of small things that simply should not exist in a house with this weekly rate. For instance, the coffee maker was broken (only the Keurig worked). The kitchen light had one lightbulb that works and 5 that were burned out. The master shower curtain fell down every single day….most times without even being touched. One of the four blinds in the master bedroom was broken and would not close. The upstairs water heater closet would not close. Mattresses that had been removed prior to our stay were placed in the garage/basement area. so we could not park when we arrived…were told to move them back. Then the mattresses were moved by someone to the front yard where they sat for two days. The porch furniture chairs were all rusted. Etc etc. To be fair we did NOT contact anyone about all these issues as we do not like anyone coming in and out of our vacation rental. I’m sure they would have fixed the issues had we asked. That said, we’re on vacation and don’t want to be dealing with home repairs and shouldn’t have to after paying almost 7k for the week. We would not stay here again.

A fabulous time!

The Coastal Cottage is absolutely gorgeous! So many “Charleston” and beachy decorative touches. The beds are super comfortable; each bed has lots of pillows and each bathroom has plenty of towels. We loved that beach towels were provided! The cottage is just a short walk to both the beach and pool. I can’t wait to come back!

Family Getaway

We had a very pleasant stay in the immaculately kept Coastal Cottage. We had everything we needed (bathroom towels, complimentary toiletries, beach towels, etc.) for our 5 night stay. The cottage was located in a quiet neighborhood just within minutes of walking distance to the beach. Communication from the host family was excellent! Would highly recommend to any family wishing to enjoy a peaceful holiday while also having the luxury of the closeness of the beach and a walking path to nearby hotel amenities .

We loved our stay. The house was very clean and we were able to get in a little early. The host responded extremely quickly when I had a question. The house is a perfect location to the beach and we loved having the wagon to help us carry all our chairs,etc. Lovely stay.

Good location

The property was in an excellent location despite the fact there was a lot of construction going on right outside the small neighborhood we were in. Quick walk across the street to the beach and great having a community pool. The property lacked a few things and felt like it wasn’t restocked before we arrived (with things like laundry and dish detergent). The property felt a bit older than pictures showed (a doorknob was broken, deck had a few nails sticking up) overall it was a nice stay just a few standard upkeep items for the house itself.

lovely home in a cute little cul-de-sac close to everything. Perfect for our family of 5. Walkable to the wild dunes inns with the shops and coffee. would definitely stay here again, we just love IOP and hope to be back soon
