Everything was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was just amazing. Loved the separate shower room.

The Hotel New Grand is a historical landmark in Yokohama. The location is hard to beat. It’s across the street from Yamashita Park, blocks from China Town, the International cruise terminal, 15 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium and good access to train system. Only down note is Hotel. Ew Grand needs to upgrade pillows, they were extremely uncomfortable.

We are so glad we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Fantastic staff. Room was spacious with good amenities. Great bed. Blackout shades. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. Just a block away from the nearest train station, and free shuttle to the airport (Haneda).

Very comfortable mattress. Brewery restaurant had delicious steak dinner!

This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

I think that the property is pretty new or updated. We were just disembarking from a 15 day cross Pacific Cruise trip. My first task was getting my laundry done. The hotel has provided the facility to satisfy me.

First stayed in Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki in 2024, only knowing it was near the train station. Stayed again in 2025 knowing what I know now — and will certainly stay here again in the future. The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps). Great hotel in a very convenient location less than 5 mins walk from Yokohama Station and 10 mins from the K-Arena concert and event venue. Very clean and new; good breakfast at Beck's Coffee on the 1st floor. Easy check-in for non-Japanese speakers as well. A little far from other Yokohama tourist sites but perfect for business visits in the area or arena events. I'll stay there again if I'm in Yokohama for an event.

Clean , good service and great location

Great find near Shinagawa and Sengakuji stations. Staff super helpful and pros. Would like more variety on the breakfast buffet. Luckily the Shinagawa station has the Atre’ with more options. Offers you access to the Shinkansen and Best Buy walking distance would stay here again as it’s a short train stopfrom Haneda

An exceptional hotel. It is very close to a train station, 10 minutes away from the Haneda airport, there’s onsite airport shuttles. The hotel is very new and the rooms are very clean. There’s also a nice common bath. I’d stay here again.
