This is truly a unique and amazing place to stay. You are right in the middle of the jungle, with all that entails. The cabanas are small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. They do have air conditioning as well, which is a must in this area. The onsite restaurant is convenient and reasonable. Most of the staff, including front desk, we encountered over 4 days did not speak English, but we were able to piece together communication. The property is quaint and so very charming with a eclectic theme throughout. You may have a chance to say hello to the resident cats and dogs, plus see ducks, and howler monkeys lying g about in the trees overhead. It is quiet, relaxing and welcoming. The best thing about the entire stay is the food. The proprietor is a delightful chef and you can tell, she loves to cook. With a nice menu, she definitely goes to great lengths to make a meal you are sure to enjoy. You must try different things...
