"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. "On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a sea view room. Location and beach are good. Nice room with great view and air conditioning which is a must. All staff were very friendly. The chef is excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meals I would like to add that the manager Kariem is a credit to the running of this hotel.
