"The first thing that hit me when I walked into the dorm, was the smell of feet. The room was noisy at night, with fellow residents coming in and out and there was plenty of noise from the street bellow, so one would find resting difficult if a light sleeper. My bed was comfortable, but being on the lower bunk had its disadvantages and I woke whenever the occupant climbed up and down the ladder. Apart from that, I felt like I was in a warm and safe space.
