"Upon arrival in the afternoon, the 1st floor hallway leading to my room reeked of an odor that I presume was of some type of cleaning agent/ chemical. The odor was also present in my room when I entered it the first time after arrival. I opened a window to air out the room. The room did not have a telephone. I reported it to the office. A lady in the office took note of it and said it would be remedied the next day. I also reported thar the desk lamp, although plugged in, was not working. No phone in the room really wasn’t an inconvenience. Mine was just an overnight stay and I had my cell phone with me. The room was otherwise satisfactory. It was a clean room at a relatively low price. It suited my need just fine. An “okay” room & service for the price."
