It was so quaint and spacious. Love the cute vintage decor. It was fun to read the hidden notes in the brick wall. The room was quiet and clean. There was a free coffee bar down the hallway. It was close to all the attractions. The $10 breakfast credit was easy to use at a choice of local restaurant. We received a code to enter the building and room. Staff were very professional and informative. Highly recommend and would stay again. Great place in a quaint little town.

After reading the reviews of all of the Effingham Hotels, we chose The Hampton Inn & Suites. The hotel was extremely clean, as was our room. The bed was very comfortable, the comforter and pillows were cozy and soft. The bathroom was nice sized with name brand toiletries available. Since this stay was during Covid, it was nice that guests and staff were wearing masks, and hand sanitizer was available at the main check-in desk, as well as, a small bottle in our room. This hotel is newly opened and still cleaning up the small details such as ice buckets and trash cans in the room. Jamie, the front desk person was excellent. She was very patient troubleshooting any issues.

The room was clean and appeared to be freshly painted. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean with nice towels. The staff was extremely friendly. I really don't have any complaints at all! The only thing I would have done differently is to give me more sugar for my in-room coffee. Other than that this was a very nice stay.
