Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamakura Ofuna Higashiguchi

"We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a short walk from the Ofuna train station. There are lots of restaurants and shops all within the hotel area. We had a late night flight home, so the hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we explored Kamakura. The hotel was clean, and the room a larger sized room compared to the normal smaller sized rooms in Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, and thought the hotel was perfect for our stay. "

It wasn’t for me!!!

"It was self check in system but very confused!!!! The touch screen wasn’t easy to use and open the room key box was difficult to open. It took long time to check in. The room was very clean but if I have to do this check in process again I will pick other hotels! "

"The hotel employees were so incredibly nice. The area is close to a bus stop that can take you anywhere even to the train station. The area is also perfect walking distance to the beach and shops! They spoke English very well and were so helpful throughout our stay with them. I will definitely be booking this same hotel next time I visit Japan!!"

Tight quarters, but comfortable beds

"I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. The things I enjoyed the most was the comfortable mattresses and the ability to drop my luggage off in the morning. "
