From the moment we arrived, what stood out most was how peaceful and secluded the property felt while still being just a short drive from town. The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had that authentic mountain-cabin charm without sacrificing modern comforts.The views were absolutely stunning — whether we were enjoying coffee on the porch in the morning or unwinding in the evening, the scenery really made the experience special. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and the owners clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests feel at home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and every detail felt intentional.Another highlight was the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains, this place hits the mark. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend “Almost Heaven” to anyone visiting the Murphy area. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"The cabin is absolutely wonderful-- everything we could have hoped for. Fully equipped for cooking which we did on a few days with easy access to great restaurants which we also enjoyed.It's also an amazing location for excursions to hiking trails in any direction. Every day we'd made it back by about sunset and then just enjoyed movies by the fireplace or sat out by the fire pit in pure peaceful bliss.Everything was nicely labeled, easy to find, and spotless. Would absolutely go here again."
