"The staff were very accommodating and cheerful and parking was perfect, right outside the hotel. Good choice of food on the menu too. The only downside, there was no usable basin in our bathroom. The metal plug was jammed in place so it was awkward to have to bend over the bath to do your teeth etc"

"Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. "

"We booked a room with a patio, knowing the weather was going to be good, so it was lovely to be able to sit outside and look at the beautiful scenery. It was midweek during the Easter school break but the spa facilities were quiet which was nice and we swam and sunbathed 2 days in a row. Restaurant was good including breakfast and dinner. Staff all lovely. "

"As a retired commercial traveller I have never used Days Inn before, always used cheaper accommodation. Normally any thoughts has been turned down as being too expensive.Was very surprised at the price which was the best in the area. The bed and the pillows were of excellent quality and we had a very peaceful nights sleep. The guy that was at reception when we arrived was very helpful and friendly. Thank You. "

"Having stayed in a lot of holiday homes across the country, this is by far the most immaculate, spotless, thoughtfully laid out house I've ever rented. The welcome basket was extremely generous and really provided everything you could need for the first evening and next morning if you arrive late with no provisions. Everything has been thought of. The ground floor bedroom and wet room were perfect for my 92 year old mother and the beds were honestly one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in (I'd love to know what make they were as I would be tempted to buy one). The entire house is built to a very high spec and everything, from the sofas to the towels were excellent quality, with attention to detail everywhere. If I had to find any faults it would only be that there were no normal drinking glasses, just some small plastic ones and that there is one small step into the larger living room that is potentially quite dangerous when everything else is on a level and it's in a darker corner. Perhaps it could be highlighted in some way. However, that is just nit-picking as it was really as close to perfect as it could be. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend highly."

"Stayed for my 50th birthday and there were 7 of us ranging from 47 to 87. The house is beautiful, very well stocked and beautifully presented. We loved every room and the owners thought of everything. We used the hot tub which was lovely also. Pub in the village does great food"
