"Everything went really well. The kiosk that they want you to check in at, you have to pay a tax and it didn’t take my debit card for some reason. You needed a card with a PIN. We tried 3 different people on our party, and none of our cards worked. So we were scrambling trying to find the tax money in yen. It wasn’t expensive, I just wasn’t prepared for it. I hadn’t gone to an ATM to get more yen."

"Property was nice & clean, Staff is friendly, a little hard with language barrier but pulled through. Depending on the room you get, will depend on what you get in the room. I got a queen size bed which was comfortable for a solo traveler. My reason for giving a "good" rating instead of the "excellent" rating was the bathroom. The bathroom is dark & doesn't have enough lighting & the 1 light that is above the sink is far away, leaning over doesn't help when trying to put on make-up. They do not have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash, they are travel size. I have very long thick hair and I needed to use 2 of each bottle for my hair for 1 shower and the last thing is that they don't have any tissues in the room. Again, good place to stay if you don't mind what I mentioned above. :)"

"We stayed in the Kabuki room and it was so worth it! The room is so cool and very clean. Comes with a lot of amenities that they replenish each day! The hotel is within a shopping district which is so nice to walk around at night. Staff was friendly and welcoming!"

Lovely room, great bathtub, lovely welcome area with drinks and snacks and amazing breakfast / I tried all the local dishes including the silky tofu, beef Kobe curry and sticky rice, delicious french toast and wafers with red bean paste and chestnuts and the teriyaki sandwhiches.
