"Fabulous hotel and staff! Only a 10-minute walk from Kyoto’s shopping district and situated in a quiet neighborhood directly off the main road, Hotel Muso was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was clean, beautiful, and super comfortable. We loved the amenities and layout. The staff was just as wonderful. Kind, caring, and very attentive when we checked in and out and throughout our stay. They even delivered a complimentary brunch! Hotel Muso is...

"Amazing stay and close to everything. Extremely helpful and kind staff"

"L’hébergement offre un lieu eco. Plusieurs petites attentions tel que lotion pour le visage, friandises japonaises, thé, etc Très grande chambre avec un bain et une douche en bambou. Le personnel est sympathique, serviable et servi avec beaucoup de respect. Mon highlight d’hôtel jusqu’à maintenant dépuis le début de notre Aventure au Japon."

"Quiet location yet convenient. Elegant and refined."

"Small but lovely property with friendly receptionist who spoke good English. We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which was a little dark even during the day, but very nice. Easy walk to the station was a bonus."

"Hotel muito especial para ficar em Kyoto! Ótima localização, super charmoso, quarto muito espaçoso, staff muito gentil e ótima comida!"

"I liked the free self-serve laundry and access to bike riding services. I thought the room was lovely, clean and spacious and the staff were accommodating when we needed a late clean."

"The European staff working there are arrogant & rude. The Asian staff was much friendlier. The hotel itself was nice but super far from everything and not worth what I paid. I should have booked two hotel rooms for the same price I paid for one here, and booked closer to Kyoto station."

"We had a wonderful stay in Kyoto! The accommodation was great, and everything was well organized. What really stood out was the host’s exceptional hospitality. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. He provided us with lots of useful information and detailed instructions, making everything easy and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto and would happily stay here again!"

"The breakfast was superior in every way! An added bonus was the close proximity of the stores, the train station, and even a temple and market across the street. We particularly liked the hotel’s own bus for sightseeing the next day! Finally there were two saunas and pools for our relaxation any time. So, everything was just perfect!"

"So glad I found this place. Absolutely perfect location. Everything so accessible. Extremely comfortable with everything I needed. They even include hair straighteners! Super clean and technology enabled with numeric keypad so no key card to worry about. I had room on 4th floor with river view. Room is very well equipped and spacious with desk, lounge area etc. Very comfortable beds and room. Pillows a little hard for my personal taste and minimal space around beds but this didn’t detract from...
