The staff was a friendly and attentive the installations are beautiful. They Give you are Yukata that you can wear around town to get into the onsens. I made a reservation for the Japanese style breakfast and it was delicious they serve you Tamago Onsen. Would stay again. Lovely."

"Very nice hotel. Best feature was the Onsen . Staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast included for our stay it had a lot of variety. We had the option to be shuttled to 4 different ski resorts nearby . They picked us up when we arrived at the bus stop we made prior arrangements with them. They shuttled us to the train station when we departed. For supper we made reservations at nearby restaurants the Lime resort shuttled us there and we walked back about 12 min after...

"Wonderful hospitality, with a historic, step back in time feel. The most kind host who runs the ryokan as the 3rd descendant of the family - it was begun by his grandfather. The property is dated with rough edges but it is a great option at a good price. The town is a sleepy but the few small restaurants we found were so good and cozy.
