"Located at the base of the ski area, this hotel has excellent and friendly service. Charlie, in particular, was a huge help in navigating getting to and from the hotel via train and taxi (we were after hours). We had the dragon suite, very suitable for families. The free shuttle to the train stations make getting around the region ( Snow Monkeys!) easy—but be mindful of the hours the busses and hotel vans run. I highly recommend the T Hotel at Ryuoo. "

"This place is a gem for our ski trip. Cosy lodge, our room was spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful views and daily breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Location was perfect for us and just a few minutes away from the main ski resorts via a free shuttle. Has great amenities and comfortable facilities. "Absolutely unique experience. If you want a fancy western style hotel, don’t stay here. If you want to have a genuinely Japanese experience, in an absolutely stunning area with some of the best snow I have seen in my lifetime, then add Kumanoyo to your list. Personally, I loved this place. "
