"I highly recommend this hotel if you like a serene & tranquil environment. The place was beyond relaxing. The only suggestions I could make for improvement are newer, softer towels, an ice maker and maybe a little more variety for breakfast to break it up a bit. Overall staff & service were exceptional. "This was a great vacation experience. Yan and Ryan were the perfect hosts. Their place is beautiful, clean, with all of the amenities. The location was also perfect, we walked to the beach every day. Yan is an amazing cook and made a different breakfast every day! My wife actually asked me to make a Yan breakfast upon our return home. Unfortunately, that was an impossible task. "Great small place to get away. Close to beach but will need to drive to get anywhere else. The on-site chef is AMAZING! Best 2 and 3 meals we ate while all over in CR for 2 weeks. Only downside is no A/C which made the nights a bit less comfortable in high summer."

"The pictures on line are older, and do not reflect present conditions. We enjoyed our stay, great location. BUT, the place badly needs to be updated and is not well maintained. Just a lot of little things. The biggest problem was that the host was not truthful when asked about the hot tub. I specifically asked if it was working (because of earlier reviews) and was told it was working, it was not, probably has not worked in awhile, the pump motor is buried in sand.
