"I’ve stayed at Sheywe at least ten times with teams I have brought with me. But will not be going back. This last time proved to be the final straw. Toilets that were dirty and did not flush, cold water showers, food (chicken)!that was undercooked, making a team member sick. I love the staff and am friends with them, but I cannot risk our health. "We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."
"It’s hard to tell from the photos and the descriptions, but the higher priced rooms are in a different, much better maintained building than the lowest priced rooms. The bedrooms are nice but the biggest difference between them are the bathrooms. I would have rated it higher if I had stayed in one of the better rooms.
