Top Kalyvia Thorikou Hotel Reviews

Astor Hotel Athens

10/10 Excellent

"The roof top bar had spectacular views of the Acropolis!"

Divani Palace Acropolis

10/10 Excellent

"Great location. Minutes from the Acropolis. Great breakfast in the morning. The ladies at the front desk could have been friendlier. They make you feel like you’re bothering them. Room was comfortable. Expensive for the value. My 2nd time staying there. Will stay again."

Athens Gate Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great breakfast!! The best of Rome and cappuccino is amazing. The service is impeccable. My only complaint was that the elevator was not accessible and very small. I mean your luggage goes up separately! The showers don’t stay hot for long!"

Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens

10/10 Excellent

"Cool.vibe. breakfast gets busy but staff were helpful"

Holiday Inn Athens Attica Av. Airport West by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The room was spotless, beds very comfortable, slept like a baby. Staff was amazing. Food at supper was excellent my steak was delicious. I will be back. Thank you Holiday Inn. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Sofitel Athens Airport

10/10 Excellent

"So convenient to have the hotel within walking distance of the airport. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel both were good although the breakfast buffet seemed a little expensive. The room was great, would highly recommend."

Electra Palace Athens

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel has a rich professional vibe. Staff members are helpful. They speak good English. We booked with their amazing and healthy breakfast buffet. Best rooftop to see Acropolis. Their location is walkable to the entire Athens area. I cannot say anything bad during our stay."

Electra Metropolis Athens

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing hotel. Location was perfect. The rooftop bar was amazing. Would definitely stay here again next time in Athens."

President Hotel Athens

10/10 Excellent

"I think the President Hotel is an ideal choice for a short stay for anyone visiting Athens for the first time and wanting to immerse themselves in the city. The hotel is conveniently located, with the nearest Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop roughly 10–20 minutes away, while the metro station is also within easy reach, making it relatively straightforward to get to many of Athens’ major attractions and historic sites. The hotel itself offers plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable, but what really stood out to me was the quality of the staff. Everyone, from the front-of-house team and porters to the restaurant staff and cleaners, was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. There is a clear sense that the hotel is very well managed, with the staff working together to create a welcoming and well-organised environment. Overall, the President Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Athens, particularly for first-time visitors. Credit should certainly go to the management, as the professionalism and attentiveness of the entire team are a real reflection of how well the hotel is run."
