"We love our stay in Lihue. The location was ideal for seeing all of the island while we were there. The place was clean, and beds were comfortable. Plenty of fans to keep you cool being there is no AC. It was also very quite (with the exception of the rosters that are everywhere on the island) and very close to a beautiful part of Lydgate beach with very few people if anyone on it or you can drive a very short distance to Lydgate park where they have a great place to snorkel for beginners. It was nice to have a cooler and ice packs to take with us on our day trips. And a beach umbrella and boogie boards to use at the beach. We would recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you!"

"This location was great. The view from the unit was exactly what we were hoping for. The living room/kitchen/dining area has a great view of the ocean, as does one of the bedrooms. The ocean and a great beach are just a one or two minute walk out the back door. We loved the beach. Swimming in the open ocean isn't great here, but there's a protected swimming area a 5-10 minute walk down the beach. The kitchen was great for cooking and well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The ocean breeze kept it pretty cool. The location is great, central between Lihue and Kapaa, and close to the airport. "

"Spending two weeks at Kaha Lani was the perfect antidote to "resort fatigue," offering a quiet, spacious home base that made exploring both the North and South shores incredibly easy. We lived on our private lanai for sunrise coffees and took full advantage of the kitchen and poolside grills, which are essential for a longer stay if you want to avoid the Kapa’a dinner traffic. The location is a hidden gem - sandwiched between a golf course and Lydgate Park giving us instant access to the coastal path and protected snorkeling lagoons without the heavy crowds of the bigger hotels. You’ll swap central air for "nature’s AC" (the trade winds) and the occasional local rooster alarm clock, but the authentic, low-key vibe and front-row ocean views made it easy to truly unpack and settle into island time. It’s not a glitzy high-rise, but for a two-week deep dive into Kauai, it was the peaceful sanctuary we were looking for."
