"I liked the location , the service and the staff attitude towards guest was kind, courteous and pleasant. Other Amenities lie shopping malls and restaurants are at a distance . There is always traffic in Kampala. However nothing the hotel can do. This is government and state infrastructure."

"I travel a lot and I often stay in what might be considered budget hotels but this was effectively a dormitory. There is no sign indicating where the entrance is to the hotel, which is inside a courtyard, or where reception is, which is through an unmarked door and up one flight of stairs. The staff do not speak English, just Chinese, except for one Ugandan man on the staff. This would be fine if it were noted in the hotel description. "I gave the hotel a higher rating because it totally met our needs and expectations. I don’t want to stay in a place with next to no amenities where I feel unsafe, but I also don’t want to pay a crazy amount to sleep for a night or two, no matter how nice it is! The Humura was our speed. Spacious room, a wall of windows onto green space, comfortable bed and linens, reasonably working AC, QUIET, (except that the walls are thin! We used a background noise app because we could hear out neighbours.). Ensuite bath ✔️ - although hot water was off and on. Great breakfast and nice pool . The.pool is not ‘blue’ bc it’s made of local stone slabs, not a blue liner. It was refreshing and clean. The decor/art is great - a lovely African vibe. This is our new retreat spot in Kampala. We’ll be back."
