"This is not my first stay at Meritin, I am very happy with the rooms, cleaniness is excellent, air-condition is super cool, beds and pillows were very verycomfortable. Staff at the reception are very helpful and friendly. The location is also convenient as it is situated along chinatown and food is abundant along both sides of the street. I will definitely come back here to stay for my yearly trips to Kuching. "

"Have to upkeep, else in a very short while it will be run down... feet marks on the walls inside the room and dirty walls. The rattan net lamp shade is very dusty. lots of ants in the room, the table, floor, toilet... "

"Booked hotel as was walking distance to airport. Wasn't expecting much of hotel. But it was very good. Only stayed one night but wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Night food market close by. Lovely room."

"The mall attached isn’t the best one in the area but if you want to do sown shopping or kill time, it’s connected to the hotel. The prices are good! They have a train ride kids can do but no playground. The hotel was great. I wish it had a thicker blanket BUT that’s probably not something I would say when it’s hot. The breakfast was good with lots of food and drink options. Omg the menu food was delicious and we got in around midnight, but fortunately they’re open 24 hrs. It was exactly what we needed after a 7 hour delay in the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel. I travel with a 4 year old and we felt safe and comfortable. The gym was good too. "
