Le Dream Boutique Hotel

2/10 Terrible

"1. The room was offered with bed sheet with clear stains on it (see pic, you can obviously see how they do not acre about hygiene). 2. The leather sofa was full of cigarette ash (see pic). They dusted it away and called it done. 3. They wanted $100 cash as durian penalty when you check out, which no one mentioned it to me and there're millions of durians right outside of the hotel trying to sell to you. I asked them to go through my credit card and Expedia to justify this penalty and they wouldn't. I got scared cuz they wouldn't let me leave so I paid through my credit card right there. 4. No gym even if you see gym pics on their profile. 5. NEVER book this hotel again."

Penang Marriott Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We love staying at the Penang Marriott. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We always book a Club Room and find the staff who serve there absolutely A1, truly a home from home! Hats off to Samson and his team. He is a smashing fellow, very engaging and could not do enough for us, when we were in the Club. The Marriott are lucky to have him. We are regulars at the Hotel and will definitely continue to book in the future. Best Chris and Julia Jones"

The Granite Luxury Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff are all very friendly and helpful. When we informed front desk staff about a faulty TV . To our surprise the maintenance staff was already at the room door waiting for us immediately. When the card could not work for the elevator, staff immediately rectify the issue. Especially Ady who is very helpful and provides information and clarifications to assist guests with a cheerful smile. Well done! Keep up the good work!"

"Rooms are clean but very dated. The hotel is centrally located and within walking to local eateries and the night market. This is good as everything inside the hotel is very overpriced. I Breakfast was ok but not worth the money if not included in the room for free. The beach is eroded which is a shame. The pool so very nice. I previously stayed at the Hard Rock and found that to be better value for money. "
