"A very thoughtful set up and breakfast is way better than how they advertised it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Free shuttle to Kawaguchigo station but only 20 min walk if you want to do it. A 7 min walk to a grocery stores which open kind of late at 9am. Not too many restaurants around so plan accordingly. "

"We stayed here for 3 days and it was amazing. The house was spacious for Japan. We cooked some meals at the house and ate on the patio with the Mount Fuji view. There was not much to do in the area but we had a rental and we went out exploring. We rode the bikes in the evening around the neighborhood. It was hard to go back to small apartments during the rest of our trip to Japan. "

This property was new on VRBO and we took a chance by booking it even though it had no reviews. Our credit card was promptly charged on January 21, 2025 for our 3 days stays scheduled to start April 11. As our trip was approaching I kept expecting communication about the check in process. "

All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property welcomed by amazing owners. Their hospitality is not by book, but from the bottom of their heart. We’ll surely come back again."
